Fight Overview:  Two tough Light Heavyweights go at it, as well-rounded Keith Jardine will do his best to stop Hamill’s one-dimensional but extremely effective ground and pound offense.

Jardine’s Strengths:  He is very well-rounded, with serviceable striking, wrestling, and submissions.

Jardine’s Weaknesses:  He lacks finishing power on the feet a lot of times, is not world-class at any one thing, and has a very suspect chin.

Hamill’s Strengths:  His wrestling, top control, and ground and pound are all superlative.

Hamill’s Weaknesses:  He is very one-dimensional.

The Verdict:  While Jardine is better at more aspects of fighting, Hamill is better at wrestling and top control than Jardine is at anything.  I expect Hamill to plant Jardine with takedowns early and often en route to a unanimous decision.
